Why do I need a sleep consultant?   

It takes a village to raise a child, and this is especially true when it comes to your child’s sleep. It’s important to have someone with the knowledge and experience to guide and empower you through the whole sleep journey. Being sleep-deprived can take its toll on your emotional well-being, which affects both your relationship with your child and partner. Therefore, we take the guesswork out of your baby’s sleep needs while you reap the rewards of happy, healthy sleep. 

 

How old does my baby need to be? 

We can assist families with babies and toddlers ranging from three-weeks to five-years-old.

 

Which package is right for me? 

Each package offered is tailor-made to suit your family’s individual needs. There is no one-size-fits-all generic approach. You can choose from a quick phone consultation to home visits, depending on your need for support. If you are still not sure, why not book a free call, and together we can determine which option best suits your family’s needs. 

What can I expect? 

It is important for parents to be ready for change before embarking on this journey. Working from a holistic approach, we look at all aspects that have an impact on your little one’s sleep, such as health, nutrition, routine, sleep environment, parenting styles, and settling techniques. You can expect a comprehensive plan tailored to your family’s individual needs that will help support and guide you in achieving the sleep you have been dreaming of.  

After booking your preferred package a sleep questionnaire will be sent to you. This will help us gain a better understanding of what has been happening and furthermore, allows us to build your comprehensive sleep plan.

Depending on the package, we will schedule the required support via phone calls, texts, or emails. In addition, you will be required to keep detailed logs so that we can make the necessary adjustments as required. The process takes on average two weeks. During this time, we will work closely together to achieve your goals. 

I have more than one child whose sleep needs to be addressed, can you help?

Absolutely! We are more than happy to work with multiple children such as siblings or twins. A fee of $50 per child will apply and will be invoiced upon request. 

I have come to the end of my support but don't feel ready to go on my own, can I purchase more support? 

Yes, of course. Extra support is charged at $50 per week over the allocated support time on the chosen package and will be invoiced as necessary.

Will I need to use CIO (Cry… It… Out…)?  

There is much misconception about crying and sleep. Therefore, it is important to understand that although crying is inevitable during sleep training, gentler methods can be used to help your little one fall asleep on their own. These methods require time, consistency, and patience. If the method takes into account the parents and the child’s temperament, CIO is not necessary. 

I am worried sleep training will harmful or be detrimental to my child?  

This is a common concern for parents. There are evidence-based studies that show the benefits of sleep which positively impacts your child’s growth and development. However, there is no evidence to suggest that sleep training has harmful or detrimental effects on your child. 

 

How are payments processed and am I eligible for a refund at any point?  

Payments can be processed via credit/debit card when an invoice is sent. Once a sleep plan has been provided, or the consultation has taken place the client will not be eligible for a refund.
